Pros
Great company culture. Benefits you won't find anywhere else. If you work anywhere outside of IT you will probably love the work you do and the direction the company is going.
Cons
Bottoms-up approach can mean executive leadership does not have much direction. IT side of carefirst has been a mess the past several years with a lot of turnover in upper level management. Because of the lack of direction in IT, career growth can be stunted especially for mid-senior level positions. Salary compensation seems to be below average for the industry
