Pros

I started as a lowly order selector. The site I worked out of had first, second, and third shifts. You have the ability to move around and work different jobs. One week you could be selecting, the next running a lift. After that go to unloading. Even sanitation if thats your thing. If your a warehouse worker, its a good way to cross train yourself on several pieces of equipment and learn several different types of jobs. I worked at multiple sites in different states and even though there is a established attendance policy for the company, NONE of the sites seemed to enforce it. If your a full time employee, you do have access to basic, and I mean BASIC health insurance & 401k. Its better than nothing though. They have something called a road crew that travels around for special projects. These projects usually pay a higher special rate, and you'll have your stay at hotels paid for as well as cash per diem for food expenses.

Cons

Oh so many. Paid time off after 1 year (40 hours), after that you have to work FIVE years before you earn 80 hours. You DO NOT get paid for holidays. Ever. & you will work almost every holiday. One thing you need to understand, Capstone negotiates contracts with the client and that means as a company, Capstone takes the work no one else wants. Also, employees of the company you will work with will typically not like you. You will face a mountain of work, and you will be pushed to do as much as you possibly can every. single. day. As a order selector I worked 10/12 hour days and picked an average of 8000 to 10000 cases a week. You will not have a set schedule. The first six months I was employed by Capstone my schedule changed four times. You will work for far less an hour than the employee at the clients company beside you. An average selector will make about 10 dollars an hour, while the person doing the same job beside you will be making 17+ an hour (because they are employed by the client). Management is basically a bros club. Your hard work will most likely be over looked. If it is noticed, they will expect you to work MORE to make up for the employees they have that do less. I have worked along side co workers who come to work intoxicated, & stoned. Management overlooks these things unless they cause a accident, in which case, said employee is thrown under the bus and quickly terminated. There is little room to advance, and even if you do the site managers and regional managers will take advantage of the fact you want to move up the corporate ladder. The road crew will work you to death. 12 plus hours a day, five or six days a week. They will tell you that you will be gone maybe a few weeks. It usually ends up being for a few months. Don't do it.

Pros

staying busy keeping active pretty much it's a workout.

Cons

very shady pay. you don't get paid hourly you get paid according to the trucks and they do not give you insight according to how much each truck is. you in term share the pay with the other package handlers.
