Favouritism, mandatory "contribution" extra hours, compensation package
Capco Response

Thank you for the positive feedback on the quality of work and opportunities to learn at Capco. Please be assured that the firm has strict procedures in place to counter any favoritism in the performance management process and that the firm benchmarks compensation against its competitors on a regular basis to ensure it is aligned with the market and leads it for the best people. It is not mandatory for employees to engage in contribution activities, but it is possible that contributing more broadly to the firm in terms of recruitment, development, diversity or sustainability activity will be recognized in our performance process alongside performance in your core role.
Capco has a friendly culture where people like to win together. A solid meritocracy that is expertise focused, and growth oriented with approachable leaders and plenty of opportunities for advancement.
Cons
Employees should be self-motivated (which for me is a plus), but being a smaller company it does lack clear and standard documentation routines. There is no one-size fits all career map, which allows self-starters to succeed and rise quickly in the organization.
