Pros
People are good. Lunch and learns and chance to move forward in your career learning. Remote work when you want. I do 2 home/2 office and one day flips often. Overtime is optional, but offered if the project needs it. Management is mostly friendly and trying to learn how to grow the company and keep things friendly and welcoming for everyone. Great benefits package
Cons
Very male dominated in the dev area. Fairly common for the industry. "Coaching" system is more about how to move up in consulting and deal with customers and management, not much in the way of help in learning dev techniques beyond the lunch and learns (which are great). "Onboarding" consisted of telling me my benefits, giving me a brief run down about the company, an introduction to the partners and then a laptop. For someone who had never worked in a agile dev environment, nor on a project anywhere near this size, it was a bit jarring. But to be clear, both the onboarding and the lack of clear Development career path are both being fixed this month hopefully, so fingers crossed. (Will update after if needed)
