Pros
Talent recruiters are hands on and very supportive throughout interview and hiring process. Mine was very responsive and patient when I had questions while deliberating whether to accept my offer or not. She was definitely my advocate, and felt like a friend by the end. Intricate onboarding process to support new hires in a very deliberate way. From day one, you are welcomed with enthusiasm and celebrated. Admittedly, I am barely two weeks in to my new role, but I have been very impressed with how seemingly genuine invested top execs are in personally welcoming and letting you know you are valued. As a very specific point.. While everyone-men and women- seem really invested in empowering and supporting you, I have been exceptionally encouraged that I made the right choice when observing multiple times where women are elevating and empowering one another. My role is somewhat complex/nuanced and the transition from public education was quite the leap. My supervisor and team have been incredible in giving me the space to acclimate and learn before overwhelming me with information that I am not ready for. Emphasis is on taking my time to really learn all the background that will support me as I fully assume my new role and increase my contribution to the team when I am ready.
Cons
The interview process is pretty rigorous. I went through five rounds of interviews before being offered the job, but I actually found this reassuring knowing that the company was very intentional in selecting.
