      Pros

      I work with some terrific people who want to help kids learn how to read.

      Cons

      Manager rarely uses the words “please” and “thank you.” Workload not conducive to a reasonable quality of life. When I tried to protect my weekend from work demands, manager pushed back: “It is irrelevant when the work gets done. It has to get done.”

      I was a good employee, I don’t know why I was harassed so much. I had to leave in the end, they wouldn’t even talk with me about how to make it better.

      The benefits are good and start day one of employment

      Cons

      Little to No communication from senior leadership or direct management. the only increases I have seen have been merit; while others I have spoken to have received increases and adjustments in pay. No work home life balance employees are not valued
