Pros

Very hard to find something nice to say about these people at this point. It’s a honeymoon phase at first but then their true colors show.

Cons

I was let go of with little to no warning . Not to mention I continued to work and they decided to let me go mid day , honestly if you’re gonna let somebody go , might as well start before I even bother to clock in and do the work .and to see their stupid smug looks , was even more insulting . this is why I am an avid supporter of employees just getting up and go once they decide a company isn’t for them , because these employers do not give you a two week notice when they decide to fire you know so why should we give them the same grace. They couldn’t care less about you anyway . Anyways let’s start from scratch , I thought this was an inviting and warm welcoming company . First week was great . A nice orientation on the company lots of slideshows , company stories , blah blah the usual . Second week was hands on training . This is when things started to go in depth. For them to think that every employee is going to be able to know everything all in one week is insane right ? There’s so many layers to this role , how we were trained is very one note, straight forward, follow this prompt . But realistically speaking , we know that there are so many different scenarios that cone up once the actual work starts, sometimes using the training manuals isn’t enough. Well after the second week of hands-on training was over , week 3 was the official start date of work post training . We were told we would receive help, and don’t get me wrong it’s there , but very minuscule . Other employees are swamped with their own work so when you ask questions it’s hard to hear back from them on time , sometimes you won’t get an answer hours later, or sometimes by questions were completely ignored. And management is completely useless . Management hardly responded to your questions either, they let the employees handle questions most of the time , but the employees are swamped with their own stuff and now they have to worry about new hires . I was told by one of the employees “if worst comes to worst and you don’t hear back from anyone regarding your questions , just do the best you can , and if you’re wrong , you will be corrected on it”. Sounds empathetic right ? except all those little mistakes that you make , go against you. I was also told by another employee that management usually has no idea what’s going on and it’s clear to me . They placed incredibly high unrealistic expectations and we’re complete unfair. To lie and say I was a perfect outstanding employee would be ridiculous , but I was still new . In previous jobs if they don’t see improvement within the 90 days probation period, you’re out , but it had barely even been four weeks before they decided they wanted to part ways with me, because there were a lot of mistakes I was making . I’ve never experienced that in any company I’ve EVER worked for , but I don’t know , maybe startup culture is different. Like I constantly asked questions, I was willing to practice certain tasks I wasn’t so strong in, I even was willing to hop on zoom multiple times so I can get some extra hands-on training, I might not have been the fastest learner, but I’ve always excelled in other jobs and have never ever gotten let go of , especially so early onto being anew hire. but I was somebody that was willing to learn. I’m not asking anybody to hold my hand but the way management treated letting go of me was so poor. It’s funny because I hardly ever heard what things I was doing wrong , yes I was reached out to here in there about a few mistakes , but like who knew a few mistakes could derail your whole career? I wonder what else they didn’t tell me that I was doing wrong that I could’ve rectified but instead stupid management wanted to be passive aggressive . I definitely heard a few poor reviews about management beforehand , but I brushed it off as just butter employees , well they couldn’t have been more than right. This is such a disappointing company. I know that being let go of by these people , was a blessing in disguise especially for a measly $18 an hour anyway. I can’t speak for other departments I’m just speaking from my own personal experience , but good riddance to this company . And seeing the amount of customers that would leave, quit, or pause their membership with this company was outstanding. I can’t blame them at all now . Like I said I was not lazy, I was willing to Larry, has a ton of annoying questions over and over, what do you see an employee trying and getting their effort even if they’re not as far as it is not how you treat them ? Barely 4 weeks until a new program? I mean Jeez , we’re still new hires, and honestly the first two weeks was orientation/training it hasn’t even been that long yet of official work. Overall , this wasn’t the right company for me And i guess they made the right choice , pay was not even worth the crap of work that we did and honestly this was best . I would 100% not recommend working for this company however good luck
