Pros

Work from home No micro-managing

Cons

Trying to remove the work from home advantages Salary is below market It feels like the leadership is not listening to employees High turnover due to the way the teams are managed Consulting firm without the consulting mindset. The employee go on-site with minimum resources, have to share car rentals, hotels are low end, budget for food while travelling is low. Will pretend they are interested in your personal growth but won't implement anything in reality. Holidays are 3 weeks to start with one week that is mandatory is december. Very few additional holidays with experience. Work from home but no budget to be sure employees have a correct set-up. IT team is the worst ever which decreases productivity. Toronto team has office days downtown in a meeting room with a very poor setting which doesn't allow employee to work properly. You literally cannot perform on that day AND contract says work from home! Benefits are at the bare minimum.

Pros

Small team and approachable team leads. The focus of employees is to improve their skillset and there are opportunities to do it. You are not micromanaged but you must be available and push yourself to be assigned projects. Small teams and able work remotely A push toward self improvement is necessary to be able to contribute. Managers/supervisors were approachable.

Cons

Benefits could be better. Sometimes assigned tickets that you don't have much knowledge about but you have to learn quickly to support customers who pay for time and material. Totally remote work and one could lose touch with coworkers.
