Pros
Easy enough work if they’ve scheduled enough people. Nice donor interactions can make your day. Only need a highschool diploma
Cons
Basically the entire policy on handling staffing. Hiring freezes enacted by higher ups to keep labor costs down even when centers are barely scraping by. Staff is not listened to on concerns. Higher turnover rate than I’ve seen at places like McDonald’s. People quit faster than new people can replace them and suddenly the person who was there for three months is now a trainer. Pay is nothing again you can get more at McDonald’s or Walmart. No schedules in advance and don’t expect to have your requests listened too. It’s so bad just look at the google reviews for the center before you apply. I can guarantee you over half mention how tired and overworked the staff seems. And when you quit? Don’t expect to be able to get a new job, they will rank your recommendations. I can not understand what this company’s business model looks like but i can tell you it’s shady.
