I've worked for a number of companies throughout my career, but CH is definitely the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. And the only reason why is because of management. Fortunately, I got the opportunity to work with wonderful people, all of which were my colleagues and I enjoyed the opportunity to with in such a diverse setting. However, management is the big downfall with the company, it is almost as if you are constantly walking on eggshells with these people. I have never felt like my every move was nitpicked on a daily basis and the HR group is a complete joke. Actually, I think HR is the main problem with this company. There was ever only one way to move up with the company, and that was by playing favorites and trying to be a "pet" to management (keep in mind I received a promotion within 8 months of working here). Its completely exhausting to feel like there are cliques in a work setting. I'm not much of a gossiper to begin with, but I constantly found myself cornered by my "supervisor" to dish on other people in the group. It was as if I had to throw everyone else under the bus in order to get anywhere, which I just wasn't willing to do, so instead of waiting to be fired for not playing games, I decided it was best for my sanity to leave. Some of the supervisor's were just plain rude, and I even witnessed situations where the trainer would YELL across the office to another employee about what co-workers "should" of been doing. It was just such an awful place to be in. There was no sense of respect, no professionalism, I felt like I was in middle school all over again. I left just a couple of months after receiving my promotion because I couldn't even deal with feeling like I was being treated as a child by supervisors that obviously didn't even know what they were doing. This is one company that I will never look back at. Its unfortunate, because when you first see it, it seems like a great place for growth and opportunity. But you hit a brick wall real fast.
