Pros

The agency programs are meaningful and impactful.

Cons

Terrible Leadership. The executive team ignores/condones misconduct by managers. The executive team is mostly new and inexperienced. They have decided to prioritize metrics and "branding" changes over employees. This used to be a great place to work. Your job was meaningful and you were treated with respect. Now, the work is still meaningful, but you will be treated like a robot. Senior leadership is patronizing and dismissive which is causing many long-term, wonderful employees to quit. There is a mass exodus of employees from this agency, just look at the open positions on their career's page. There is a reason why so many employees are leaving: This is a terrible place to work.

Pros

Benefits and fully paid holiday breaks off (4+ weeks annually, holidays like mlk day, juneteenth, indiginous peoples day the entire week of the 4th of july and Thanksgiving all paid days off, and I o n ow I'm gorgetting some as well. Even one day for your own birthday, that you can take off anytime doesn't have to actually be your bday. Training through the company 💪 amazing team, truly the besy people in the world. Top tier leadership as well both on site and corporate/downtown

Cons

Education requirements are unusually extensive for the positions depending on teacher level due to highest standards of care industry wide. pay is similar to the industry standard overall... meaning generally lower than same education/experience ece employees at for-profit preschools and daycares. Basically your actual dollar for dollar income(if.youre ignoring benefits and only talking take home pay) is gonna be lower than at other preschools which also don't require as high education standards. This ebens out once you've.been with brightpoint 5+ years, then annual salary generally tends to be higher than for profits due to guaranteed increase

Pros

Directly help children find safe, stable environments and support families through difficult situations.

Cons

Would involve lots of driving, along with VERY late nights, early mornings, and exhausting days that can be hard to keep up with.
