Bright Future Software Response
10yHi,
Thank you for your review. It’s important that we receive varied feedback from our current and former employees, so we understand where they feel improvements can be made.
It’s great that you feel the support staff were pleasant and helpful. They work very hard to ensure that Apprentices transition from education in to the world of work is as seamless as possible, and that everyone is geared up for the ever-changing commercial world.
For clarity it’s worth mentioning that the company is run by the Directors and Management Team, with the training delivered by qualified and experienced Trainers. The role of the Apprentice is to learn the skills required to become a qualified Software Developer, whilst working on simulated and real-world projects and earning a weekly income.
The Level 3 wage is in line with national minimum wage for Apprentices and offers an alternative to going to sixth form or college, where no income is received. Once on Level 4 the Apprentices are more involved with commercial work and their rate of pay does rise substantially. All bonuses, as in many businesses, are discretionary and based on business and personal success and contribution.
All income received by the training business for delivering apprenticeships is used to run the business and invest in its future.
It is unfortunate that you haven’t had a positive experience at Bright Future, but we’re hopeful that you go in to further education or a job that you’re happy and settled in.
All the best,
The Management Team
