Booz Allen offers excellent compensation and fringe benefits such as 10% automatic 401k contributions. Booz has a strong corporate culture around delivering quality work. Interpersonal relationships are stressed as a matter of culture and most Booz Allen employees are well networked and easy to get along with.
Cons
Booz Allen is not a company where the status quo is tolerated. If you are looking for a 9 to 5 desk job, Booz Allen is not your company. You will be asked to work hard and often outside of normal hours (fairly standard for a consulting firm). Booz Allen is fairly consistent in its corporate culture but team dynamic will vary between teams based on individual management personalities (which can be bad in some places). If you are hired on the low range of your salary pay band it is sometimes difficult to catch up to the average unless your manager is willing to give you a market rate adjustment. Booz Allen tends to hire Type-A personalities and this sometimes this leads to conflict because everyone tends to be very competitive.
