Pros

-Free lunch served on site -Great colleagues -Lots of potential for progression if you work at head office in Amsterdam

Cons

-Treated like children, micromanaged even at a supervisory role. -Lack of progression -very high performance pressures -more and more work added to the roles with no recognition or pay increase -Highly stressful job -lack of transparency -the few promotions in the office are decided before even advertised

Thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback. We’re disappointed to hear about your experience. As you’ve mentioned, we are currently growing and evolving at Booking.com, so we’re working even harder to make sure that our workplace continues to be somewhere all our employees feel comfortable, supported and inspired. We also wanted to let you know that promotions are always based on merit. An employee is eligible for a promotion after 12 months in a role and a manager does not have the possibility to refuse any application outside of those conditions. If you feel this is the not case, we ask that you contact your HR Business Partner directly or contact the 24-hour ethics & compliance line – conversations are always confidential. Again, thank you for your feedback – it will help us as we move forward. Many thanks, The People Team at Booking.com
