Pros
BlackRock is a large firm that feels like working in a SME sometimes, there's not so much bureaucracy in processing new ideas and implementing innovative approaches. A great place to build on your experience and learn valuable things from very experienced and bright minds.
Cons
Since 2022 the firm has had several rounds of lay offs, while the environment has changed significantly since then, with toxicity being more obvious while no one knows if they are going to be laid off or when. The firm handed out disappointing bonuses and does not appreciate employees as much anymore.
