Pros

Main office in CA is good with asking for and being open to feedback Good entry level position to get into the field of special needs/children/human services Tries to create a company culture and community, but that has been minimized due to COVID-19

Cons

New office is disorganized and lacks communication Behavior Technicians viewed by supervisors as unskilled workers, lack of appreciation for the hard work we do Supervisors don't seem to know much about supervision and have only recently passed exams to become certified as BCBA

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us your feedback. We're glad you feel that headquarters is open to feedback, and that your experience thus far has been a positive entry level position into working with children with special needs. This is always our goal! Regarding some of your concerns, we would strongly encourage you to reach out to the Senior Clinical Director or either of the Regional Clinical Directors with your concerns. We always take time to listen to EVERY employee, particularly if there are areas we can help to improve. You are absolutely right - the job of a behavior technician (BT) IS a hard job, and needs the recognition it deserves. Really appreciate your input - please do reach out, we can help! Thank you for being a part of Team Boston, and for the difficult (but rewarding!) work you do!
