Pros
Fairly low stress environment, with decent work life balance. Occasionally the work is interesting. Flexible hours and casual dress. A good place to work if your a few years from retirement, or you don't change or challenge. Most of the engineers are competent.
Cons
Silos silos silos, poor communication between groups and divisions. Almost no career opportunity, basically a dead end job, unless your a Belgian. Get stuck working on the same old stuff until you die. Belgian's difficult to work with. The company is penny-wise and pound foolish. A really terrible health care plan. Almost no useful training, or concern about employee development. Terrible processes when they even exist. Dead end job, oh did I mention that already. Ineffective HR, god knows what they do. Raises are a joke, your lucky to get 1%-2% while the company has record earnings. High turn over, at least in some divisions, and very little is done to replace these employees. Obsessed with cost cuttings, wants cheap, with no concern for quality.
