Pros

One of the best companies I have seen, who provides such a good care to their employees, specially during COVID situation. They provide a flexible environment to work and support their employees in best possible ways. Some of the benefits that an employee get in Barclays are: * Good Increment while joining the company (Don't forget to negotiate well) * Flexible working environment * Very good perks - free transportation; free tea, coffee and soups * Annual Bonus (not included in your CTC) * Encouragement for internal job movement. IJP policy is very good. * Decent Annual Appraisal * No. of leaves are very good and there are many more. During Covid, Barclays has extended enormous facilities to the employees, such as: * Advance Salaries (which needs to be paid back in 6 months) * Increment in the medical policies * Additional Cash reimbursement for Covid treatment *Free WFH kits that includes Ergonomics Chair, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, etc. * Transportation for Covid treatment and Oxygen Supply * A dedicated toll free for all Covid related queries, and many more.

Cons

The only Con I found is that Barclays does not cover the Parents in the medical policies they enroll the employees. You have to pay the premium separately for your parents under VPA.

Pros

Can’t think of 1. Not even 1.

Cons

Pay is the lowest compared to similar company with the same role. Upper management speaks to staff with a patronizing tone; cutting them off, and talking down to them. At times it felt like they purposefully were attempting to find things wrong instead of working together as a team to meet objectives. Understaffed. Fully expected to do the work of a team of 6 despite being a team of 2 for example.
