Pros
- Good work/life balance - Supportive of activities outside of work (I was able to complete a graduate program while working full time) - Generally nice people
Cons
- A lot of the smart, “go-getter” types of people have left; somehow the place is now full of people who are around to just collect a paycheck - Lack of strategic direction, constant turnover of leadership and each new leader comes up with a strategy that is radically different from the previous one and basically teams have to abandon previous projects because there is a new pet technology to convert to; projects are constantly being decommissioned or converted to the new tech stack but never fully completed before a new leader comes along - No opportunities for growth - Zero investment for training
