Pros
The people who are NOT in management are amazing. Pay is decent if youre willing to go above and beyond, but the moment you question leadership you can expect to be quiet fired. Pay and promotions will always be a carrot to dangle. If you have a desire for agency and not just a fesire to sit down and shut up, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. They fire anyone who actually cares, even if it takes years of milking your passion first to get there, trust me, they will for you too.
Cons
The SMS division, recently acquired Ball Aerospace, has been butchered. Management wasnt great before the aquisition, and its absolutely toxic within BAAM at this point. They tried to fix it while it was still Ball Aerospace, but now that they are recieving pressure from the transition, it is a dumpster fire. Functionally, if you are ok with being a complete Peon who just follows orders, its an ok job at best. If you want any agency and an actual name rather than a number stamped to your forehead, id look elsewhere. The other coworkers who arent management are great, for the most part. They are the only reason the job is worth anything at this point.
