Pros
Work/life balance was nice with a 9/80 schedule and then all of the government holidays plus vacation & sick time. Profit sharing and 401k as well as the basic medical, dental, vision benefits were also nice.
Cons
Unless you're a part of the good ol' boys club, you're never going to get anywhere here. No career path, no training & requests for training are denied because they were seen as "a waste of time". Lots of retired military especially in management positions so "barking orders" to their subordinates was the standard way of giving direction. I knew less than 2 weeks in that I had made a huge mistake. Human resources was also less than helpful if you needed them for any reason so was the "anonymous hot line" to report harassment and unethical behavior.
