Pros

cheap food (they put the price up for the food now, but not the pay for work), all year round in some parks

Cons

Overworked, bad management, no investment. If you have been working for Away Resorts for 20 months, they will tell you that you have to take a 2-week contract break with little to no warning to stop you from gaining employee rights. no way to progress in a career (no employment growth) sends out emails about a bonus, then a second email saying sorry, that was only for management, so now we know what management gets for the team's hard work (that they had nothing to do with). You will be expected to do multiple people's jobs for minimum wage This is well below market rate. Management has no idea what they are doing

Pros

- Strong analytical capability within the Revenue Management team. - Colleagues at peer level are generally collaborative and supportive.

Cons

- Senior-level exposure and involvement are not distributed consistently across roles at the same level. Some individuals are given significantly more access to strategic work and decision-making than others, which creates uneven development opportunities. - There is little to no meaningful internal progression. Development happens, but advancement does not, so career growth requires leaving the business. - Compensation is below market compared to similar roles elsewhere in the industry. - The team recorded one of the lowest engagement (eNPS) scores, reflecting broader challenges around recognition, development, and transparency.
