Pros

Management are really good people, the work is challenging and satisfying, things always seem very stable amd consistent.

Cons

Coworkers are always hot and turning up the heat amd turning the air off. But some days the cold crew wins out, amd the company also gives out sweaters and blankets to all employees during winter, so everyone is happy

Pros

Being an Executive Director allows you to make a real impact, lead teams, improve operations, and help create a strong culture for both staff and clients.

Cons

The role comes with a high level of responsibility, constant decision-making, long hours, and the pressure of balancing staff needs, client care, compliance, and business expectations.

Pros

Providers have some control over how long a patient visit needs to be. The company hires people who have had the same struggles as the patients and many of the staff members are genuinely passionate about their jobs. The company does fun activities with the patients for holidays.

Cons

Profits are prioritized over patient safety. There are not enough staff members to handle the acuity or volume of patients most of the time. Management tolerates medication errors, medication misplacements, hostility/attitude towards struggling patients. There is inconsistency with expectations for patients leading to some patients getting "administratively discharged" at times but other clients get to stay when similar behavior is observed. The benefits are TERRIBLE. A provider gets roughly 3 weeks TOTAL of PTO in a year (same as all other staff members), it can only be rolled into the next year until March 31; if you don't use it you lose it and it does not start accruing for any employee until after 90 days. The 401K match is only 3%. Call is required including weekends for providers and admissions are moving towards 24 hours a day. There is 0 admin time. Real live hours put into the job is more like 50-60 hours per week.
