As all other negative detailed reviews have outlined, believe them.
The more recent one line positives are upper management pushing us to write to balance and try to hide their low scores. Also note the more positive ones are mostly from satellite offices and not corporate because those leaders have more independence away from the execs/CEO.
Corporate culture is hollow, empty promises and buzzwords made by a bunch of out of touch executive staff. The culture is plagued by blatant sexism and absolutely no work life balance. Internal promotion opportunities are lacking and even if you do move up within the company, you are still financially punished as they will hire someone outside for 2 to 3 times your salary level for the same or similar role.
If you are a female looking to move up or into leadership, shop elsewhere. Every female either promoted or hired into leadership is assigned “mentors” which gives the appearance of support when in reality it’s multiple male executives who override your decision making and call the shots for your group. Men hired in or promoted don’t have this same structure. It’s painfully obvious when they chose the first female VP that it will be the most scrutinized position in the company (even though the person is more than qualified/capable to lead their own group).
Certain execs are allowed to behave like frat houses at corporate sponsored events such as providing alcohol on site and letting staff drive home, engaging in locker room talk, and kissing subordinate staff, etc. which is then not addressed (like it is with lower staff) and somehow, often times, they are even promoted or continue to behave with no formal correction.
Finally, if you’re still reading you might ask what is the company doing to address this toxic culture? The answer is absolutely nothing. If you make suggestions to improve the culture you are labeled as “negative” and iced out by upper leadership who make it uncomfortable until you leave the company rather than them letting you go so they can spin the narrative to their advantage.
The CEO took away the internal diversity committee and said he’d handle the efforts himself (although he called DEI a "women's group"). One of the “core values” is about treating everyone with respect yet the CEO is notorious for belittling and screaming at all levels of staff and his exec staff is too self-serving to correct or change it. Stay away.
