Pros
The brand name looks great on a resume because it’s highly regarded amongst luxury travelers. There’s a great perk after one year of working where you get 5 comp nights to use at any of the resorts (but they have to be approved). Pretty decent benefits package.
Cons
Low pay for the level of luxury they offer which makes turnover very high. Most resorts in remote locations making work-life balance tough because most of your community your co-workers. The company has some really great Brand Pillars in theory, but when they start talking about valuing their employees, and caring about the environment, it’s all some bull. They’re also pretty behind other resorts in terms of technology, and I don’t think they are positioned for sustainable growth or relevancy.
