Pros

one of the few pros is the chance to work with talented and dedicated colleagues.

Cons

I feel compelled to share my horrifying experience at a workplace that I hope no one else has to endure. If you value your time, sanity, and well-being, steer clear of this company at all costs. I worked here for 1 year. This place is all about exploiting their employees and squeezing every ounce of productivity out of them without any appreciation or fair compensation. The most disheartening aspect of this place is the blatant lies they feed you during the hiring process. They boast about countless growth opportunities and a bright future within the company, but it couldn't be further from the truth. There's no career progression here, no chances for advancement, and no support for your professional development. They keep you stuck in the same dead-end position indefinitely. I am deeply disappointed with my previous workplace, primarily due to the actions of the regional director and general manager. These individuals have shown a complete lack of empathy and respect towards the staff, only showing favoritism towards those who constantly praise and flatter them. As a result, someone with no class or experience has been allowed to run amok and destroy what was once a promising establishment with a dedicated and detail-oriented team. The regional director's absence on the floor for most of the day speaks volumes about his commitment to the job and the well-being of the employees and members. Instead of focusing on improving the overall experience, he has chosen to hire more individuals from his own nationality, creating a toxic work environment where only a select few have opportunities for growth. The exorbitant fees that members have to pay for subpar service is unacceptable, and the numerous complaints only highlight the lack of consistency and care towards customer satisfaction. It is evident that this company values cost-cutting measures over quality service, leading to the dismissal of employees who genuinely care about making a positive impact. I can only express my disappointment towards those responsible for hiring the regional director and allowing him to tarnish the reputation of the establishment. It is a shame to see such potential go to waste due to the selfish actions of one individual. Members and guests deserve better, and the hardworking employees deserve to be treated with respect and appreciation. The lunch they provide, if you can even call it that, is another low point. They offer the cheapest, most unappetizing meals that leave you feeling unsatisfied and unmotivated. It's a small reflection of how little they value their employees' welfare. It's no surprise that this place has an incredibly high turnover rate. People come in with high hopes, only to leave within a short period due to the unbearable work conditions. The revolving door of employees is a testament to the toxicity and dysfunction that permeates the workplace. In conclusion, I urge you not to waste your time applying to this awful company. It's a black hole that will sap your enthusiasm and leave you emotionally drained. Look elsewhere for job opportunities where your skills and dedication will be appreciated and rewarded. This place is a nightmare, and everyone deserves better.

Pros

Aman’s properties are truly exceptional, and the brand’s commitment to delivering serene, luxurious guest experiences is admirable. The attention to detail in the guest journey is world-class.

Cons

While Aman is undeniably a stunning brand with iconic properties, the experience at the corporate office — particularly across several departments — is far from serene. The environment is rigid, political, and emotionally draining. Leadership tends to operate in silos, showing little interest in collaboration or fresh ideas. There is an emotionally reactive management style that makes the workplace feel unwelcoming. Ideas that challenge the status quo are not encouraged, and silence or passive resistance is often used in place of honest, constructive dialogue. Decisions frequently appear personal rather than performance-based. While the external image is one of calm, understated luxury, the internal culture is tense, uncooperative, and, at times, demoralising.
