Pros
- Compensation is good
- Higher fees typically mean you're doing more high level work (i.e., not long boring implementations)
- In P&T you don't have to live near an office, just near an airport
- For the most part, weekends are respected
- For the most part, everyone at the firm is smart and hardworking, the few exceptions typically get weeded out eventually
Cons
- High degree of variability in travel, weekend work, etc. across the firm - you need to find the good managers to work for
- Like all consulting, when work gets busy your personal life is expected to take a back seat
