      Pros

      Fantastic people, Beautiful campus. Competitive salary in DFW market.

      Cons

      Since the spin out from Novartis, there has been a large focus on improving the bottom line, which means cost cutting. This is beginning to erode in the quality of the employee's lives. I suspect you'll start to see fewer life-long Alcon employees.

      Stable company with people that want to make a difference. Great place to learn about manufacturing practices.

      No clear job roles and the company tries to squeeze work out of lower level engineers.
