Pros

I wanted to say pay. However after decducting the OT hours you have to put in daily and on weekends.. Actually they have shortchanged you.

Cons

1) Top management is childish and petty. They are not open to ideas and think theirs are the best 2) Diectors is a yes man who knows nothing and tells people to manage even knowing its wrong 3) Director suck up to a manager who throws the weight around 4) Employees cannot make one mistake, will be told to leave 5) Team do not share information and needs others to beg for it. They will only release it after criticising you. 6) Many new joiners left within 2 months and recruitment is very slow 7) Policies are way behind execution 8) Scapegoat culture 9) Favourtism culture 10) Secret relationship with management culture 11) Friends and relatives culture 12) Fake friendliness culture

Pros

Cons

It feels somewhat ironic that AIC was recognised as a “Best Employer 2026” and a people-first workplace. Over the past year, particularly with the new cluster head’s leadership in SGO, this has not fully reflected my experience. Her current management approach is highly KPI-driven, with strong emphasis on targets and performance metrics. While results are important, the nature of our work requires compassion, patience, and a human touch, which can sometimes feel overshadowed. Team interactions can be quite intense, with frequent questioning and interruptions during meetings. This has created a more pressurised environment, where staff are expected to constantly justify strategies and meet high expectations. While her leadership brings strengths in driving performance, a more balanced and supportive approach could help better align with the caregiving nature of the sector. The shift towards a more results-focused culture has also contributed to fatigue and turnover within the team.
