The people you work with day to day are keeping the lights on and are really invested in doing their best work.
Cons
The upper management seem content to just keep the lights on. The style of leadership is largely one of leading through fear, with people just suddenly disappearing from the org chart with little warning. Work life balance isn’t a thing, expectations are you are always on, even on public holidays.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. Firstly, I would like to reassure you that we do listen. From Aevi Voice to all the coffee calls I have with our Aevi’ators across the business every week; and we do this because how people are feeling and what their challenges are is extremely important to us – and we act on them.
I’m sad to hear that you didn’t feel you had a work-life balance, but I appreciate that being in a team that’s on-call (which may sometimes involve weekend and bank holiday work), wasn’t for you.
I am concerned to hear that you feel that you’ve experienced leadership style through fear, this is not Aevi culture, which you can see reflected through previous Glassdoor comments. I would encourage you to reach out to one of the HR team to share your concerns.
Finally, I can categorically assert that we are not content with keeping the lights on, we truly believe that we will achieve great things in the future.
A diverse culture and a rapidly evolving workplace where you're always learning and gaining lots of career experience.
Cons
Not a con, but because AEVI is evolving and growing, things are often changing. If you're not used to change, then it can be disorienting.

Thanks for your feedback – we always appreciate people taking the time to write us reviews on Glassdoor! We completely agree with your feedback – yes, there are lots of opportunities grow and yes, we are fast paced and constantly evolving, and yes; fast paced and evolving isn’t for everyone – but if it is – you will thrive and grow here! And thanks for the advice – in a multi-sited hybrid / remote first company, this is sometimes a challenge, but we will certainly focus on our visibility, because it’s important.

Cons
European Based, Primarily a European Company looking to expand into the US Payments Market, but slightly constrained by lack of Certifications

Thanks for your review and that’s a fair point… When we first entered the US market, we did so through “Class A” certified solutions for major banks and financial institutions. Since then, we’ve expanded into the mid-market, which means proactively certifying our platforms for broader use.
We already hold certification with TSYS, are progressing through VPC now, and have several more on the roadmap. Rather than waiting for customers to request them, we’re now targeting certifications that fill key market gaps where Aevi’s flexibility and innovation make the biggest difference.
