This business has marketed itself as being supportive and progressive in a socially and environmentally conscious company. Please be advised that it is none of those things.
I drained my savings to move across the country for this company, only to be callously fired weeks later along with another coworker who had also undergone a huge move. No warnings, no reason provided. It was literally weeks of positive praise and crocodile smiles, followed by a blindside firing leaving me ineligible for unemployment and without healthcare. There is no HR department. No training outside of makeshift videos of people working along with sitting at current employees desks while they frantically try to manage their own workloads.
It's hard to express the level of deceit and disregard exhibited by the staff and CEO. This is my biggest grievance with the company, the dishonesty in the hiring, throughout my tenure and in the firing process. If you choose to walk into this lion's den, be prepared for covert performance reviews conducted by outside corporate consultants, silent, terrified coworkers and no dialogue about the job or your performance. After my exit from the company, half of the office was calling my phone to disclose the revolving door of employees and how they're planning their own exit from this unstable environment.
There are tons of wonderful, supportive, socially and environmentally friendly companies out there! This is not one of them. Do yourself a favor and take your time, positive attitude and talent elsewhere!
