Pros

I don't know about the Bangalore office but yeah there are couple of reasons you might want to start a career here. a) Gym is fine just to relax a bit if you are in sales. b) You can play sports. c) Benefits are awesome.

Cons

Well, I can take eternity to write this down but will keep this in bullet points to make this easier to understand. a) Do not ever get in the sales process that is the 5th floor. It is Adobe within Adobe. b) The managers and directors are from domestic call centers and have made a culture of talk-time and connects to keep a track of your daily activity. c) You will be given a great designation as "Account manager" but the work you do is of a collection agent. d) You need to lick your management for growth or to be on their good side. e) No growth opportunities and if you need working for more than a year you will feel that no skills are left for you to tap on. The skills you came with will be far gone. f) The team set up is like beggars, they will eat you even for like mere 100 rupees for a sale. g) Unethical sales is the way to go here. If you are going the right way they might take you down and ask you to follow ways just to get some revenue. h) HR has no say in this and even the ERC is all in the pocket of the management. They are all scripted actors just trying to make your life hell.

Pros

- Awesome culture. I love going to work every day. People are really nice - exciting to be in the industry where a lot of innovation is happening - good work life balance - flexible RTO - two one-week shutdowns per year, unlimited PTO, global wellness days, great benefits

Cons

- Leadership lost its way. Missed huge opportunities in markets served by Canva and GenAI. Took the wrong bet on commercially safe models, missing out on huge opportunities that were captured by competing GenAI models. No clear strategy or vision from management about how to get back in track. Our products are losing market share every day and management seems to be lime deer in headlights, unsure what to do - Watching stock price deflating nearly every day is disheartening - Decision making is very slow. Takes ages to get things approved. - C-suite is mostly over 50 and often seem out of touch with latest AI and tech trends. Uphill battle sometimes to get them to see urgent opportunities that need to be acted on immediately - Adobe failed to organically develop major products in the last 20 years. Major recent ones; Firefly and Express; have not been successful.
