Pros

1. Good salary for managerial positions and above (not me). Bonus multipliers are the same across all levels, so higher base salaries translate into significantly higher bonuses. 2. Professional board of directors and senior management team. 3. Strong company values. Integrity is taken seriously and generally prioritized over short-term gains. 4. The company encourages employees to pursue professional certifications and supports continuous learning. 5. If your immediate supervisor is not toxic, you'll probably have a good experience here. Like many large Indonesian conglomerates, a lot of employees have stayed for 10+ years. People are generally helpful, approachable, and willing to share their knowledge.

Cons

HR practices feel quite outdated. 1. No real flexibility in working arrangements. Official hours changed from 9–4 to 8–5, but some people work 7–4, 9–6, or even WFH based on management discretion. It creates confusion, especially for lower-level employees. 2. Benefits are rarely reviewed. Lunch and transport allowances are still around 30k each and have been for as long as I can remember. 3. No wellness benefits such as gym memberships, vitamin allowances, or similar programs. Unlimited medical reimbursement is nice, but there is little focus on preventive health and well-being. 4. No budget for team bonding activities. Literally none. 5. Interview quality depends on who interviews you. I once overheard a senior interviewer asking a candidate about their parents' divorce, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. If by any chance you get this kind of interview, please do remind them that it is completely unethical to ask about personal/family matters. 6. Monthly salaries are relatively low compared to similar positions in the industry. A large portion of compensation depends on the annual bonus, which is heavily affected by external and government-related factors. 7. Career progression is slow, especially below Assistant Manager/Superintendent level. There are multiple layers between Staff and Assistant Manager (5-ish layers), and promotions are generally reviewed only every 2–3 years. 8. If you're someone who dislikes office politics and expects promotions to be based purely on performance and competency, this may not be the right place for you. 9. Cuti bersama is deducted from your annual leave balance, which can leave you with very limited leave days for personal use.
