Pros
Work from home, no phones if you get onto the "river 1" contract/project, Monday through Friday if your're lucky enough to get that as well.
Cons
Very micromanaged and your screen will be watched all day through their chat program. I don't mind it, but i know that does freak some people out. The pay is no longer worth it with the costs of living rising everywhere. Seems that "tecs" (supervisors of the rooms) aren't trained well because they will each have different answers to questions regarding pretty much anything and it becomes extremely frustrating. The points system for attendance and asking for time off is just ridiculous, If you give the two weeks notice for time off and they have to many people off on that day, you are denied and if you don't have pto built up to cover it, you will get a point. You can only get three points per quarter before you will be fired. And points can happen for so many things if you have an internet outage or power outage, anything that would keep you from working you will get a point if there is no pto. The company doesn't seem to care like they used to, they've changed my schedule and position with no notice, or care to how it affects my life, I've gone from have a set mon-fri schedule to, tuesday and sundays off, and being put on another contract they had that was so rushed no one knew what they were doing, even after training and the programs barely ever worked for it. My schedule changed numerous times the three months they made us be on that program this year, with out asking if we even wanted to be on it. That whole thing was a massive mess in itself that i don't have the time to write up. There are better paying jobs out there at this point and have it together better than this place does. I don't know what happened, but there has to be new people somewhere with in this company, it is not what it used to be.
