Pros

The more junior members of staff all get along really well, monthly gift voucher

Cons

In my experience, the toxic culture at this company starts at the very top and filters down through management. I felt that being bullied, undermined, unsupported, and ultimately managed out was normalised and treated as acceptable within the business, including at even the most senior level. Pay reviews are non-existent. Some members of the team had worked there for over 18 months without any annual pay review or increase, despite consistently taking on work beyond their original job roles. This company was not a place where employees could safely speak up. In my experience, raising concerns often made the situation worse, and voicing how you felt negatively impacted the way you were treated. As a result, junior members of staff were left without protection or support, as HR and senior leadership would typically side with management rather than properly investigating concerns. I also felt that younger members of staff, particularly young women, were frequently undermined and treated in a way that created a hostile and uncomfortable working environment. Working here left me chronically stressed, struggling with sleep, crying at work, and feeling physically sick before going in to the office. Staff turnover was very high, processes were lacking, and, looking back, it was the most negative working environment I have ever experienced.

Pros

free jewellery Some nice people

Cons

Overworked!!! undervalued, underpaid (annual bonus is more of a myth, as you never get it, or only get a small bit) Very disorganised company, the managers are always changing direction of what they are doing. No actual support to employees. Free food or a gift in the office doesn't actually help someone going through a tough time i'm afraid that doesn't count as supporting 'mental health'

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear this was your experience. We're always listening to feedback and know there's always more we can do. A big focus for us this year is bringing more clarity to roles, responsibilities and priorities, so everyone has a clearer understanding of what's expected. We also agree that supporting wellbeing is about much more than free food or the occasional gift. Those are simply small gestures alongside the wellbeing and mental health support we already have in place, and we'll continue to build on this as we grow. We wish you all the best for the future.

Pros

Monthly discount code for a free product.

Cons

I don't even know where to start with this review but i would never recommend working for this company. You will forever be overworked, stressed and never appreciated. They try to cover it up by giving you work 'treats' like pizza or goodie bags from other brands on days like International Women's Day but that will never make up for the toxic culture. The company relocated their whole business across the country and made 70% of their staff redundant. This core team was the strongest team they had with the strongest work ethicals, with minimal staff turn over. Now there is a new person starting or leaving every week. The office culture has become so nasty & clique. It's a predominately female environment and they hire men who are so misogynistic and talk down to all the women within the team and when it's flagged to senior leaders, its shrugged off and not handled. Management is a hot mess who never communicate vital information so you're always playing a guessing game or having to do a full 180 change at 5pm on a Friday. Basically if you aren't willing to suck up to senior management or get into a clique group and work 60+ hrs a week, then don't bother applying.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that you left with this view of the business. We've been through a huge amount of change over the last 18 months, and while change is never easy, we're focused on continuing to build a positive, supportive and inclusive culture where people feel listened to and valued. We know there's always more we can do, and we're continuing to invest in clearer ways of working, stronger leadership and a better overall employee experience. We wish you all the best in whatever comes next.
