Pros
A chance for inexperienced production staff to learn on the job and earn very well at the same time. Majority of the production team are a pleasure to work with.
Cons
Casual racism, particularly towards people from South East Asia. Not outright discrimination, but jokes centred around clients and colleagues ethnicities are not uncommon amongst senior staff. Awful onboarding process Lack of support for staff from regional and senior management in the face of issues. Instead a blame culture exists, so when things go wrong, you're thrown under the bus. Lack of appreciation for the work of the production staff, despite the company being largely dependent on repeat business, which is won by the production team delivering... Serial hiring of under qualified staff Complete lack of HR department Pensions - they will promise you a pension that will never turn up, even though it's in your contract. You will ask repeatedly and be ignored or fobbed off with an excuse Ridiculous production 'targets' that bear no relation to the reality of production work, but you will be publicly shamed for not meeting them. You'll be micro-managed to within an inch of your life
