Pros
There are many smart, dedicated people who try to keep things moving. If you need exposure to high-pressure product problems you’ll pick up technical experience very quickly. Some teams are talented and supportive within themselves.
Cons
The constant layoffs are a huge source of stress for everyone. It seemed like every few months, there's another round of firings, and colleagues would be let go without warning or explanation. The atmosphere becomes cutthroat with employees competing aggressively to make themselves look good and others look bad in hopes of avoiding the next layoff list. Morale is at an all-time low and management was not taking steps to address the underlying issues. The company's struggles seemed to be an open secret, and it's clear that we are not set up for success here.
