Pros

Responsive, Polite Management Easy to book time off/ flexible schedule

Cons

If it sounds too good to be true, it is. This is a basic sales/canvassing job where you get paid a percentage of the funds you raise. Just being there and following instructions doesn't necessitate getting paid. -Hours The hours are long- work weeks are 6 days, and at entry-level, you can expect to work from 9-7:30 each day, or later. On "half days", you can expect to be there from 9:15-3/4pm, or later. Much of the job requires driving for 30+ minutes one way each day to different 'events', without gas compensation. -Daily Work + Pay Employees are encouraged to misrepresent the amount of money they've made in a day while fundraising. Management is deceptive- the promised weekly pay only applies if you work all 6 days, which I asked about multiple times, and they were not truthful. -Benefits Absolutely none. No 401k, insurance, etc. -Culture Lots of swearing in the 'office'. Morning meetings seem focused on instilling an 'us vs them' mindset in workers, along with the usual 'corporate family' language that actively pits you against your actual family. Bosses insist that the work is easy and that if anyone has complaints, they should quit. Many do, and upon quitting, you're asked not to tell others that you're doing so.

FIND SOMETHING BETTER

Pros

Interacting with the community and that’s all!

Cons

- You will be standing for 8+ hours a day at retail locations across the metroplex regardless of job position you applied for - if you don’t do well or make “bell” Which is $400 a day in donations then they chalk it up to you having a terrible student mentality -you will be asking strangers for $$ (donations) that is the only part of your job - they hire anyone and everyone - you do not become a director in 6 months to a year. - hours are NOT 9-6, more like 8:45-8:45 - 12 hour days !! You will also work every Saturday! If you have a family, I highly suggest you find something else - morning meetings where they restate the same message in a different form and play motivational videos (so odd) - You work most holidays - if you didn’t how would The CEO make more money? - no benefits, time off, etc, -it is not salary - purely commission unless you work a full six days where you’ll get the base pay which is $500 - comes down to like $8/hr or less (also have to factor in taxes) JUST KEEP LOOKING!

Pros

well you might gain a few friends while working yourself into the ground for the bare minimum

Cons

-first week they bring you back early to make sure you are okay then after that you work until you hit your goal or the business kicks you out -if you have a family, you will rarely see them and management will try to pin you against them and tell you they "aren't supportive of your business goals" when in reality your family is seeing them for the scam they are - no benefits, time off, 401K, nothing - extremely high turnover - you will be out in the elements (no matter how bad) and you might not make a dollar - was commissions only when I was there unless you have people under you ' - seriously do not recommend to anyone - please read through the smoke and mirrors they feed you... this company has rebranded several times. Do your research.
