Pros

When I started at Element K, it had a wonderful, family-like atmosphere. I loved going to work every day and really thought it was the best job I had ever had. The team I worked with was extremely supportive, and they organization had many traditions that contributed to the wonderful feeling.

Cons

Management has no idea what it takes to make the product they sell, and they figure as long as it has Element K's name on it, it's good enough. There is no connection with the end users of the product.

Great people working on some world class e-learning

Pros

Really smart people working here. Definitely some of the best instructional design and e-learning that I've seen in the industry. Great use of media - video, graphics, 3D, and instructional games. Cool new outputs. Company seems to have won a number of new customers and working on some great new projects.

Cons

Sometimes there are long hours. Some irrational customer demands will drive you crazy. Some managers place unrealistic timelines on projects.
