Pros
There aren't many publishing jobs in Ireland, so it might be a good place to gain experience.
Cons
No HR department, workforce lacks diversity, building not accessible, working from home practically non-existent, hardly any benefits offered, no review process (don't expect a raise unless you ask for one), managers don't have staff's best interests at heart -- there is no attention paid to keeping up morale, be prepared to clock in and out, lunch times are inflexible, parameters of the job change informally, deadlines are often unreasonable, goal posts change at the whim of sales and marketing, beating competitors to market is often more important than ensuring quality, and it is an extremely top-down environment. Don't make waves. Don't have ideas. Don't innovate. Don't be creative. Just do things the way it's always been done and the way you're told and you'll do well at this company.
