Pros

Learning about the eCommerce industry, parcel and international shipping Some good colleagues Product is good

Cons

Women are not treated with respect. The air is full of misogyny which has caused several good female employees to quit Very incompetent managers who barely responds to Slacks that causes a slowdown in process Poor go to market strategy from sales leaders, no clear direction Sales onboarding is terrible besides having a few good resources you can count on to help you learn that are not your manager. You're made to watch videos and then told to sell Favoritism runs rampant here, be prepared to boot lick or get kicked out Lack of empathy from upper management HR is practically non-existent that even HR hires churn, harassment and unfair practices go unnoticed

As a growing business we are striving to improve and become better at what we do. We have a high number of female employees within the business and are always continuously looking to improve including creating female leadership positions and developing female talent within the business. Our HR support is growing within the last year we have grown from 1 - 4 people within the HR team. This significant increase is allowing us to improve onboarding, provide better HR support to our employees and help create a supportive environment for all employees. Within our sales team we are looking at improving our training and onboarding, including as of 2022 creating a programme for all new joiners to learn from. We are continuously looking to improve and your feedback goes along way in helping us improve.

Pros

Multi cultural, diverse workforce Generally people there are friendly and nice

Cons

Where do I start? Easyship is a toxic company to work for. If you’re reading this and thinking of joining, think twice. The positive reviews are written by HR/upper management and are not genuine. - Upper management have no idea what they’re doing and are quick to point the finger and blame those below them - Micro management culture is present and starts at the top - The co-founders are ‘interesting’ characters, with one that especially makes rash decisions and has a huge ego. Everyone knows who this is. - Office culture is abysmal, it’s a depressing atmosphere - Clique heavy, especially if you’re of a certain European ethnicity - Favoritism towards certain employees from senior management - HR try but are just puppets to the system - Ghost town - Turnover is crazy, people disappear without a trace due to being fired for no good reason and are never mentioned of again. If you join, there’s a good chance you become a ghost too - Training? Ha! Onboarding? Ha! - Internal processes are a joke - ‘Let’s copy our competitors’ mentality - sums the company up at strategic level - they have no idea If you value your career and mental health, stay away from Easyship. Do your research and you’ll see many more red flags appear.

Pros

Met some lovely people and was able to take ownership of my work and add to my portfolio.

Cons

When I first joined the company I was excited and promised flexible working and company benefits. However, unfortunately I soon realised that the minimal benefits offered do not make up for the toxic way the company is run and there is not as much flexibility as I'd expected. Throughout my time at the company, I have seen many, many people let go who were hard workers and went above and beyond to help the company grow. There was never a good reason for letting people go and it seems that there are a lot of very bad and spontaneous decisions being made from the top. The company makes out that they care about your wellbeing but as soon as you raise any concerns, you are told to get on and deal with it without any support. I'm absolutely shocked at the way people are treated and there are definitely favourites within the company. If you are considering working here then be aware that the turnover rate is extremely high and it is not a company that you will be able to stay in long-term as there is no future. It seems like as soon as that 12-month point is approaching then you are told to be on your way. I would also like to add that I have seen negative comments left about HR but I do genuinely believe that HR is in an impossible situation and has to be the messenger from the founders and the ones to give bad news. If you work here, then I would advise that you get your paycheck and keep your head down and be expected to be let go without warning. The founders seriously lack empathy and there is definitely something going on behind the scenes that staff are not aware of. Listen to the negative reviews as they are all 100% true. The good reviews have clearly been left by the same few people who have an in with the founders.
