Pros

Flexible work hours. Nice and approachable people to work with (except for a few sour apples, as in any work environment). Middle management recognizes good work done by employees and acknowledges this.

Cons

No structured or formal training program for junior technical staff (scientists / engineers). Almost everything is learned on the go and on the job. Management's main focus is on the short term, therefore (as was already said in a another review), employee success and value is measured almost solely on chargeability of a project, and not on professional development. Seems like the career advancement path is a very long journey, so growth within the company will take a long time for junior people joining.

Pros

Its a small office so most people are easy going.

Cons

Not much room for advancement and raises are hard to get. Most management has been here too long to think of innovative ways to fix problems within the company.

Pros

Flexible work hours. Some employees.

Cons

Where do I begin....If this company is around in the next 2 years I will be shocked. They communicate that the company is performing well but yet you constantly receive calls from vendors that finance is not paying their bills. There was even an instance where we lost internet connection because they did not pay that bill. Raises are 1-2% and they make it seem like a big approval push to give you that. There are no bonuses. STI "plan" is not existent although they say there is one coming to new hires to try to lock them in. Management has no training and there is so much turnover throughout the entire company. They have no value for employees and look at turnover as another chair they need to fill. It is a very hostile environment with no recognition or rewards for hard work. Benefits are TERRIBLE. Compensation is even WORSE. Work/life balance...they say the office is closed for the week of Christmas....but yet still require employees to work if they have projects to work on. If you do take off for the week of Christmas they make you use your personal PTO which is only 3 weeks total.
