Pros
I worked with some excellent mid-level managers who, despite the circumstances, were motivated, intelligent, and competent.
Cons
The benefits were awful, especially when paired with the paltry salary and the ridiculously long hours and pressure to be billable. The upper managers were detached, unrealistic, and capricious. This made for a very low overall morale among the middle and lower-level employees.
