Pros

Just to note the company is making new employees write reviews. The high score the company has currently is manipulated by HR - Some really decent people work there with great work ethic but most are not in managerial roles - HR were fantastic in dealing with covid fears and worries - Good extras (health insurance, pension )

Cons

- The wrong people getting promoted - Complete disconnect with what product are developing vs what the customers want - Leadership changing long term and short term goals constantly - Inflation of how the company keep 'smashing targets' when in reality they are just increasing the prices on customers every chance they get. - Most of people in managerial roles have little to no knowledge of the product while taking credit for their teams work - Constant re-organization of roles/departments. The leadership team like to give out new role titles for themselves and managers while most of the lower level employees are required to take on many responsibilities to no praise/reward

Pros

They use MacBooks. Great area near Dublin downtown area.

Cons

This organization is a joke and I am extremely sorry to have accepted the offer disregarding the awful notoriety they have on Glassdoor. A couple of individuals here are genuinely nice, yet only a couple. The remainder of them are identified with one another in some structure and you should watch your back whenever. I've never seen a software organization with such huge numbers of managers and "leaders" - which some of them are not really there on account of legitimacy, but because they realize how to please their managers. Such a significant number of individuals are leaving, including myself, and I'll never look back. You can read the other reviews and reviews for other similar companies, compare and think about them - you will see the distinction. Such a waste of time given the market

Pros

Great work environment, really nice people. Excellent commission structure.

Cons

I originally applied for a Business Development Executive position with Daft.ie. However, I was offered the role of Business Development Manager (which wasn’t even been advertised). I didn’t ask any questions as it was more money. 2 months into the role learnt that I was working the base of clients of an employee on maternity leave, I didn’t think much of this at the time. I overachieved on my quarterly target and was extremely happy with how I was progressing. It was in my 5th month that the individual who was on maternity leave cake back, she sat at a desk with no phone, which was strange. A month later, having smashed my second quarterly target, I had my 6 month probation meeting in which I was told that it was been extended by one month (they didn’t want to get rid of me a week before Christmas). They told me I needed to work on things that had nothing to do with my sales abilities, which didn’t add up at all. However, I worked at these small things knowing well what was going on in the background. Come mid January I went to my meeting fully prepared for the eventuality. For a company with such a great reputation it was extremely underhanded of them to essentially use me as maternity cover. This led to me struggling to find work for over 7 months, whereas I had 9 years selling experience going in and had never been unemployed for more than 2-3 weeks. I found it hard in interviews to explain that I had done what I had been employed to do but that I was let go. In my 12 years in sales, I’ve never come across such sneaky underhanded tactics, that caused me huge distress when leaving and trying to find new employment. Beware.....
