      Good Remote Position

      Pros

      The company allows me to work remote and cover multiple Military Treatment Facilities, traveling only when required. Project Managers do not keep you under thumb and work with you instead of demanding results every day. No micro management!!!!

      Cons

      If you're good at your job you will get assigned to multiple projects, so you will have to answer to multiple project managers at the same time. Interaction with senior leadership is almost no existent. Low starting pay compared to the national average for corporate trainers. Company does not match your 401k contributions.

      Little room for professional growth HR is basically unreachable Management states to "take it with a smile" when reviewing expectations even if they're outside the job description Yearly raises are not always given to everyone and do not match or exceed cost of inflation. Salary discussions are highly discouraged to avoid staff realizing they are earning significantly less than their counterparts who complete the same work. Contract is reevaluated every six months so your job is always on the line (i.e. contract is good for three years but the budget is evaluated every six months and you could get cut from the team due to lack of funding).
