Pros

DataChannel is an excellent place to work if you enjoy building real products that customers actively use. There’s a strong sense of ownership across teams, and you’re encouraged to think from a customer-first perspective rather than just “shipping features.” As a Product Manager, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with engineering, design, customer success, and sales, which makes decision-making fast and impactful. The problems we solve are genuinely interesting—ETL, Reverse ETL, data quality, orchestration, and now GenAI use cases—and you get exposure across the full product lifecycle. Leadership is approachable, feedback is valued, and good ideas can come from anywhere, regardless of role or title. The culture is collaborative, fast-paced, and transparent. If you’re proactive and like taking initiative, you’ll thrive here.

Cons

Because it’s a growing SaaS company, things can move quickly and priorities may shift. This might feel challenging for someone who prefers very rigid processes or a slower pace.

Government job, nothing much otherwise

Cons

Both founders are dumb. Trying to copy other competitors thinking they will take their market someday. Have hired college kids from HR to product managers. Zero experience running a growth company.
