Pros

Employer is a cheat and a liar, rude and has anger issues. There are no cons at all. The pay attracts you? This company is not worth the hassle. Save yourself the trouble. Look at all the cons and think again.

Cons

Employer told me HIMSELF that he DOES NOT hire old people (note: even 30 and above are considered old to him), and that he prefers hiring "youngsters". But said youngsters are disappointing him because they lack responsibility - unlike him "who pays salaries on time". False news btw. So he attempts to hire "old people" and see how it goes. Also to note: job advertise location at Tampines North Drive. Location is actually at Airport Cargo Rd. So dont get tricked. Work for them, but they dont want to pay you. Happened to many people. Even going to the government will take a very long time to get back your money because employer hides behind lawyers, and uses them to threaten you - even with money order issued. Funniest thing? He only owes less than $200 salary and he refuses to pay, even tried to haggle. Is this a market? Jokes. Also, read the contract carefully as they word it in such a way that "employer AND employee portion of the CPF" will come from YOUR salary.

Pros

Above average pay and air-conditioned.

Cons

The place is basically a sweatshop run by a boss with the temperament of a child. When he is in a bad mood he can be seen shouting at people over petty things, smashing tables, swearing and increasing the quota even if it is towards the end of the work day. If something does not benefit him, he will not put in any effort to resolve it. The pay is good but whether or not you will get paid is another thing. He has openly talked about withholding employees pays without cause, I heard that he has even held peoples pay for months at a time. He has had disputes with several employees over their pay, he claims that a few hundred dollars isn’t much and that it is not worth disputing over. The boss is an elitist. He is an advocate of JC goers and looks down on people who has taken any other route, he deems that they are inferior and less smart. The boss is also a racist. At one point of time he never hired malays. His reason was due to the fact that they are more likely to steal from him. If you’re looking for a “resume booster” the job ad claims to be, do not work here. Majority of the job scopes in the ad is false.

Pros

The only pro that I can think of is that the pay. However, at the beginning, employees have to go through a 14 working days probation to qualify for the high pay/hr. Food at canteens near it are cheap and decent.

Cons

Too many cons to talk about 1. While you get pay quite decently, even as of March 2024, the boss can choose to not pay. This is all depending on how much he likes you. As someone who have worked there, I have seen so many people that did not get pay for 1/2/3 months. This is entirely disgusting. So why do people not sue them for the pay? The boss/founder of the company only hires those below 30(ageism) and make use of the fact that these people lack connections or anything to fight against him. 2. Location is way too far. This place is too ulu. For reference, I take lesser time to go to the other side of Singapore. Yes, this is not a joke. It is located at the far east after the SAF terminal AND you have to get the temporary pass EVERYDAY from the pass office. I lived in the South-East and took 1h45m daily to reach. 3. While the after-probation is good, do know that you need to hit 8 hour of KPI to qualify for it! This sounds easy until you realise that this boss, in the span of 3 months, increased KPI by 1.5x. He baits the employees to this thing called Scheme B which means you get OT pay if you can do more than 8 hours worth of KPIs. Why is it a bait? If he sees the number of KPIs increase drastically, he will increase KPI. He does these quite often and its a bit dumb that my colleagues which are 16 years olds keep falling for it. 4. You think this was all? Nope. We will end it of with this boss. You can google search who is he. This guy is just straight up an abomination of a human being. Not only does he purposely withhold payslips against those he dislike, he has superiority complex. Buddy makes sure to always screw with his personal admin department by screaming at them non-stop. Managers getting blasted by this boss and etc. Boss also makes sure to talk behind a lot of people's back. On the second day of my work, he already approached me and talked behind a lot of my colleague's back. Employees have to always suck up to him because they need the pay they worked hard for. My suggestion is to not be afraid. If he does not pay, contract exists. Make sense you take a good picture of the contract before handing it back. Make sure all of your KPIs are registered and recorded with whatever means. This guy is so stingy that he will do whatever it takes to try cheat you out of your money.
