      Job Hunters - Beware of Extremely Poor Leadership

      Pros

      The average employee at Cretex is GREAT. There are lots of wonderful people employed there who are trying hard to make a difference. Convenient location and new facility.

      Cons

      Many dedicated, and talented, people become exhausted and frustrated after discovering a complete lack of support and direction by the leadership. Sadly, many good employees come and go quickly due to the poor leadership. The leadership seems unwilling to see and/or admit their part in the lack of employee retention and employee satisfaction. People are treated more like objects (numbers/data) rather than actual people. And I'm not sure the leaders even care, as long as they get and have what they need.

      Opportunities are quickly expanding; several sister companies to work for

      Cons

      Disorganization and lack of proactive corrections leading to near-constant crises and crunch. Hourly scheduled employees asked to work outside of hours to fill gaps or catch up. Compensation packages are screwy, as 12 hour shifts get premiums, causing base pay to be lower but overall pay to be higher than higher-ranked job titles on 8 hour shifts.

      Cool coworkers, interesting medical products

      Cons

      Supervisors micromanage. Upper management and office folks are demeaning, full of themselves, disorganized, and don't listen to suggestions/problems. Lots of miscommunication/disconnect between upper management and the people working on the assembly/production floor. Get ready for lots of blaming.
