Pros
You can earn a decent salary at Coolvision, and there are some very nice people working there, and once you work there and get to know others, many will tell you they stay due to the decent salaries.
Cons
The trickle down theory is highly evident here, upper management (not all but many) adopt the management style of the company owner, using subtle (i.e. telling you the owner is unhappy with A, B, C) and not-so-subtle (several times heard managers threaten to fire anyone who did 'not perform' as a general statement made in group meetings) manipulations and actual threats to their jobs to keep employees 'in line.' If this were a schoolyard, bullying would be the appropriate word. Was very hard to believe this sort of work environment existed until faced with it - even harder to believe no reviews exist here already, as many in the Internet world here know about Coolvision and its derogatory work environment and many in this country have done their stints at this company before getting out... Additionally and as warning to anyone considering working here, when you sign on with the company, check your contract carefully - after you leave they take back their share of the amount they pay toward your pension - and they tell you they can do so because they have a clause allowing them to do so in the small writing. Was in shock that any employer, especially one making as much money as they do on their adult entertainment channels, would do this to employees. Bottom line, in the beginning it all appears rosy, and the salaries are tempting, and yes, while you will meet some nice people, the work environment is anything but - you will always feel like you are on unstable ground at this workplace. The company has very high turnover, it is not the place to look for stability. Think twice, three times, four times before going to work for this company, especially if you value a positive work environment.
