Pros

- Great atmosphere - Great benefits - Work-life balance - A lot of integrations and fun stuff

Cons

- Management and their decisions are tanking the company - Knowledge is lost or spread around Confluence so much that it is hard to get the current data for clients - Lack of responsibilities from higher-ups - Constant reductions and restructurisation to the point you are scared of being let go every December - Some teams are treated better than others - There is no opportunity to grow and get a promotion

Great workforce but

Pros

Great people. Good workers that are competent and hardworking. Great for people looking to start off their career. Just don't plan to stay long. There is a great emphasis on cost cutting and saving money at every corner.

Cons

Currently led by a Senior leader who took over from the CEO. This leader has a reputation built by himself of doing things his way or your out. At a company event a couple years ago during a lov week he was to address half the company in the morning but did not show up until noon. There was a party the night before. That behavior got him to now lead the company employees. So sad how far Controlant has gone but I am glad I am gone. They no longer live their values.

Pros

- Ambitious company with an interesting product and global footprint - Smart, driven people in parts of the organisation - Fast-paced environment that can suit those early in their career or looking for short-term exposure

Cons

- Senior roles come with high expectations but limited structural protection - Compensation and benefits are not always aligned with senior-level accountability (particularly from a UK employment perspective) - Equity is positioned as a major part of the upside but lacks transparency and realistic downside protection - Decision-making can be highly centralised, making role security dependent on shifting priorities rather than delivery alone Advice to Prospective Employees - Do thorough diligence on contract terms, notice periods, benefits, and equity mechanics - especially if relocating or leaving a secure role - This may be a good environment for those comfortable with risk and change, but senior hires should go in with eyes open
